General Terms and Conditions of Carriage
The following terms and conditions of carriage (“General Terms and Conditions”) shall govern the shipment of all TNX Continental products and shall constitute a binding agreement between TNX Continental and the Shipper, the Consignee, and any other person who may have an interest in the shipment. These conditions also protect anyone with whom TNX Continental may contract to transport or deliver the shipment.
1. Terms
Where used in these General Terms and Conditions or the specific terms and conditions applicable to any TNX Continental product, the following words or phrases shall mean:
- Consignee – The person to whom the shipment is sent.
- Convention – The Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules relating to International Carriage by Air (Warsaw, 1929; amended at The Hague, 1955), which may limit TNX Continental’s liability in respect of loss or damage to shipments.
- TNX Continental – Includes any carrier contracted by TNX Continental to transport or deliver shipments.
- Package – Any single container or envelope accepted by TNX Continental for delivery.
- Shipment – All packages shipped by the same customer (same origin/destination and consignee) on the same day, even under different waybills.
- Shipper – The person sending the shipment.
- Waybill – Any shipping document, label, manifest, bill of lading, or similar document used by TNX Continental.
2. Services
TNX Continental agrees to provide courier services between authorized service points in accordance with:
- The General Terms and Conditions set out herein.
- The terms and conditions applicable to the particular TNX Continental product being used.
- The applicable TNX Continental Rate Schedule and Additional Charges in effect at the time of shipment.
- In case of conflict, the specific product terms shall prevail.
3. Applicable Law
These Terms shall be governed by applicable national or state laws. For international air shipments, the Carriage by Air Act (India) and the Convention shall apply.
4. Rate Applications
The Shipper agrees to pay shipping rates in effect at the time of shipment. TNX Continental reserves the right to amend its Rate Schedules with notice.
5. Additional Charges
In addition to standard charges, the following may apply:
- Account Number Correction
- After Hours Pickup
- Volumetric Weight Charges
- Fuel Surcharge
- Remote Area Surcharge
- Postal Code Correction
- Weight Correction
- Residential Delivery Fee
- Excess Weight Package Delivery Fee

6. Sales Taxes and Duties
The billed party shall pay all applicable taxes, duties, and surcharges related to shipments.
7. Billing
Shipments may be billed to the Shipper or “Bill To” account. Billing correction requests must be made within 30 days of invoice date. Requests after 30 days but within 90 days may incur administrative fees.
8. Payment
Invoices must be paid in full when due. Late payments over 30 days incur a 2% monthly charge. Additional fees apply for dishonoured payments.
9. Lien
TNX Continental has a lien over shipments for all unpaid charges and may refuse delivery until amounts are settled.
10. Delivery
- Delivery – Shipments are delivered to the consignee’s address, not necessarily the named consignee.
- Proof of Delivery – Available via phone/email (free) or written confirmation (fee).
- Undelivered Goods – May be returned to Shipper at their expense.
- Delay – TNX Continental does not guarantee delivery times.
- Redirection of Deliveries – Available upon request for a fee.
11. Exceptions from Liability
TNX Continental shall not be liable for delays, loss, or damage due to circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, labour disputes, inherent defects in goods, or acts of third parties.
12. Liability
Shipments must be insured by the Shipper/Consignee. TNX Continental assumes no liability for damages or loss but will provide supporting documents for insurance claims.
Exclusions include:
- Loss of income, profits, or markets
- Acts of God (earthquakes, floods, storms, etc.)
- Force majeure (war, strikes, embargoes, etc.)
- Defects in goods or packaging
- Theft, arson, or criminal acts
- Customs or government delays
- Prohibited or restricted items

TNX Continental is a company registered under the Indian Companies Act and has been in operation since 2019. The brand name, logo, and mascot are the property of TNX Continental and are subject to a trademark application.
Acceptance of Terms
PLEASE READ THIS STATEMENT CAREFULLY. If you (Customer) do not wish to be bound by the terms and conditions mentioned herein, kindly refrain from accessing this website or booking any consignment. Any booking of service on this site shall be deemed as acceptance of this policy.
This agreement was written in English (India). In case of any conflict between a translated version and the English version, the English version will prevail.
Payment, Cancellation, and Refunds Policy
This “Payment, Cancellation, and Refunds Policy” governs the booking of services through this website. TNX Continental may amend these terms from time to time without prior notice by posting changes on the website.
The Client agrees to pay according to the rates displayed on the website at the time of booking. Rates are subject to change without notice. Any additional costs such as ODA, government levies, duties, or taxes may be charged later. Payments must be made as per invoices raised. If payment is not made within 15 days, late charges of 1.5% per month apply. If unpaid for 60 days, the Company may (1) terminate the agreement and/or (2) withhold services.
Acceptable Payment Methods
- By booking with tnxcontinental.com, you authorize TNX Continental and its agents to interact with banks/payment gateways for processing, verification, and dispute resolution.

TNX Continental will never ask for your online banking username or password. Customers must not disclose such credentials to the Company.
- Not all payment methods are available for all products or services.
Payment Gateway
TNX Continental uses HDFC Payment Gateway for secure online transactions. HDFC provides aggregate gateway solutions enabling customers to pay using multiple methods including cards, net banking, and IVR.
Both TNX Continental and HDFC Bank have implemented security measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and you acknowledge that you provide personal information at your own risk.
Cancellations and Modifications
- The cancellation policy is dynamic and may change over time.
- The policy prevailing at the time of booking applies.
- Free cancellation is allowed only if consignments have not physically reached any TNX Continental branch or HUB.
- Cancellations due to service deficiency require approval by TNX Continental.
- Delays/losses due to force majeure are not eligible for refunds.
- Cancellation requests must be made online or via email to Customer Support.
- Amendments to bookings may be accepted at TNX Continental’s discretion.
- Refunds are processed directly by TNX Continental.
- Your bank may levy additional charges on refunded amounts.
Refunds
- Refunds are generally processed within 7 business days but may vary by bank policies.
- No obligation to issue refunds if inaccurate information is provided or if the payment was not received by TNX Continental.
- Refunds requiring special handling may be delayed.
- Refunds requested after 90 days may require additional documentation.
- Refund-related information will be protected per our Privacy Policy.
General Terms for Online Payments
Once accepted, customers may register and use services under these Terms. “Charge Back” refers to transactions later refused or reversed by banks/issuers.
Server Slowdown/Timeout:
- If debited, do not pay again. Contact TNX Continental for confirmation.
- If not debited, retry the payment.
TNX Continental and its Payment Service Providers are not responsible for duplicate/fraudulent transactions, data corruption, or system interruptions.
Debit/Credit Card & Bank Account Details
- Customers must provide accurate and authorized card/bank details.

By initiating payments, you confirm that:
- You are entitled to use the card/account.
- The details provided are accurate.
- You authorize TNX Continental to debit the account/card.
- You have sufficient balance/credit limit for the transaction.
Payment Gateway Disclaimer
The online payment facility is provided to assist customers. TNX Continental and its providers make no warranties on uninterrupted service. Use of the online payment service is entirely at the customer’s own risk.
Cancellation Policy
- The policy is dynamic and may change over time.
- The applicable policy is the one active at booking time.
- Free cancellation is allowed only before consignments reach any TNX branch or HUB.
- Requests for service deficiency cancellations require approval.
- Force majeure events are not refundable.
- Only cancellations via email/online support are valid.
- Booking amendments may be allowed at TNX discretion.
- Refunds are processed by TNX Continental directly.
- Your bank may deduct its own charges from refunds.
Payment Refund Policy for Online Payments
- Chargebacks: Customers must raise claims directly with TNX Continental.
- Fraudulent/Duplicate Transactions: Customers must contact TNX Continental directly for resolution. TNX alone will handle such issues.
